Capital Plan

The Capital Plan is a moving target, but its good to know where to look.

The Association of Community Educational Councils has a good guide for decoding a capital plan.

Find below the text version from pages 699, 700 of http://source.nycsca.org/pdf/11_06_plan_amendment_comprehensive_region_base.pdf

(The original doc is 2mb+ so don't just open it, but, copy it your hard drive)

Here are only pages 699,700. Not so much.

Its also good to look at the Encounter Reports (aka. Building Inspections) and the Blue Book (defines building capacity). The Blue Book only has one line for M054 and it states its capacity at 1,068 so we are right at their number. Realize that, the average utilization for District 3 as about 79% for middle schools and 75% for all others. M054 was at 97% with 1,034 students. M054 was bringing up the District average.
