Dress Code

The purpose of this dress code is to ensure that all students dress appropriately for school and for school activities. It is not designed to inhibit an individual student's right to be creative. It is designed to help students appreciate that what may be acceptable for one situation may not be acceptable for another situation.
  • Hats, doorags, bandanas, or headscarves (except for religious compliance) are not permitted.
  • Shirts with offensive, vulgar or inappropriate messages or images are not permitted.
  • Basketball jerseys will be permitted if worn over a T-shirt.
  • Tank tops and shirts with spagetti straps are prohibited unless worn under a shirt or blouse.
  • Shirts, pants or skirts which reveal a bare midriff are prohibited.
  • Mini skirts and short shorts are prohibited. The length of skirts and shorts must be at least mid thigh.
  • Baggy pants must be worn at the waist.
  • Beach thongs and slippers are prohibited.
  • Chains, studded belts and collars are not permitted.
  • Clothing which is revealing and considered sexually provocative is prohibited.
